The phone consultation is the first step before starting therapy. It’s a quick and casual conversation between us. I’ll ask to hear about you and what it is you’re dealing with, and then I’ll tell you about how I might work with your concerns, and I’ll answer any questions you have.
There is no pressure to book with me after the call.
In fact, if you or I determine we’re not a good fit for any reason, I’ll refer you to another therapist or I’ll use what you’ve told me about your concerns to help you search for a better treatment for you.
If we determine we are a good fit, we can schedule your first appointment at any time.
